Zeek's paladin class is unusual for an aarakocra, and is the result of a chance encounter in her youth with a paladin of the Linear Guild who saved her and several other young aarakocra.  She has ever since been a loyal friend to Maximus Pentacle, one of the members of the Linear Guild who would later found the Sunderguard in the Greypeak Settlement.
